Intuiting Life

We love you ‘RC’

# Hmm…I had to write this post finally.

This post is about one of the most popular guy of Aravali – ‘RC’. What does RC stand for? Its not Royal Challenge or Resistor-Capacitor Circuit.

R stands for Rajit. Can’t tell you about C though, but if you’ve got enough senses then guessing it isn’t that tough. ;)

So why RC?

Because he’s special. He’s different. I first noticed RC in my Mathematics Tutorial Class. He was sitting just besides me completely unaware of the surroundings. He appeared uninterested, lazy and calm as if he didn’t care whats going on. Then all of a sudden he raises his hand and points to the teaching assistant of an error she made on the blackboard. This was enough for me to get surprised. So one thing thats sure is that RC is intelligent. At that point of time I didn’t realise that one day RC would become indispensible part of my IIT life and one of the rare reasons for me to stay happy here.

What makes RC special? Certainly not his intelligency, because at IIT its difficult to make such opinions. RC is special because he’s The RC. Talk with him for more than 5 minutes and you’ll realise what I mean. He gives such high level PJs and ‘huggas’ that you can’t resist flinching ur nose. Some of the characteristics of RC are:

  1. RC contains an infinite stock of PJs which he uses very intelligently in every situation.
  2. He expects everyone to laugh at the end of it also. This means he’s too optimistic.
  3. RC is too passionate for his laptop – Dell XPS 1530. I can say this because he opens google to search if he’s unable to find his toothbrush.
  4. Visit RC’s room anytime. You won’t find him doing anything except two things: sleeping or playing NFS on his laptop.
  5. RC is one of the rarest species on the earth who have the ability to laugh on their own jokes.

The most interesting thing, RC knows he’s a RC. I asked him one day and he told me that he’s not a ‘RC’ by birth. Time changed him.

The best thing, RC never gets annoyed or feels bad if we make fun of him. That makes him the most lovable person of Aravali.
It takes a lot to become RC.

# RC spent two sleepless nights on making Graphic Science Tutorials. But couldn’t submit them because he was sleeping during the time of submission.

# He saw his PMT (Pre-Major Total) accidently wrong and was too relaxed to know that he got very good marks and would pass the course easily. He gave his Major Exam in a very tension-free manner and screwed it. Afterwords, someone told him his real PMT. Now he’s in trouble.

# And guess what, he did the above thing in two courses. (I told you it takes a lot to become a RC)

# RC is determined to score 9 pointers in next semester and also to do a minor degree in Computer Science. (Yes, we know he’s unable to even pass all of his courses this semester but that doesn’t mean he can’t have ambitions.)

# He also has plans to perform in Inter-House GroupDance and to get selected in Insti Football Team. (Surprised to hear RC can dance also? Same here!)

RC lives on his own. He never cares a lot of what others think and say of him. He’s helpful and caring. And all these things make him a real good human-being. No matter how much we laugh on him or play pranks with him, he’ll always be the most lovable and ‘popular’ friend of ours.

For particularly me, RC is one of the reasons to become happy. Its because of him I laugh, enjoy and stop missing a few people for a while. He’s always there (sleeping in his room) whenever I need him. Besides, he’s too cute as you can see and handsome also. ;)

Hmm...sleeping I told you he's cuterc

And before I end, let me tell you about the most happening news of Aravali in recent times. RC has started blogging. Yes dudes, he has written a blog. The response is overwhelming. There’s no Fachha in whole hostel who’s not talking about it.

Its a must read. You can read RC’s blog from here. And don’t forget to comment there, RC will like it.

PS — I am in serious trouble. I am getting failed in Chemistry and probably in Maths too. :(

Another year Older

I am 19.

I am 19.

# I am writing this post when I am due with 5 Graphic Science Tutorials, one CYL110 quiz, a CSL 101 assignment, a continuous 16 hours street play practice and a lunch and a breakfast I missed today.

I turned 19. A rare event for anyone because one can turn 19 only once in his/her life. But what made this ‘19′ was indeed more special?

# Was that a Chemistry Quiz which I screwed a little because I reached late at the venue?

# Was it due the 144 scraps, 51 SMS and a few special calls I got as birthday wishes?

# Or the night-out for street play practice?

# Or due to the effect of ‘chappals’ that were posted on my ass as birthday bumps?

# Or because it was my first birthday in IIT and outside home?

# Or since I never celebrated my birthday with soo soo many people ever?

# Or because of her?

Well, all of the above. I want to say thanks to my roomies – Aakash and Manoj, to Bammo, who’s my best friend in IIT, my wingmates, my hostelmates, my street play team, my seniors, to all those who accompanied me here and made me feel like home.

I want to say thanks to my friends in Bhopal. Some people are irreplacable.

I want to say thanks to her. I am glad she’s back.

I want to say thanks to everyone.

And last but not the least, I want to pay my deep regards to a person who is responsible for making this birthday more than special. Thanks Nitya, without you, this day would not have been so significant.

I am very happy when I write this post. Thanks All ! :)
